Wow, it has been awhile. Let's see since our time away from this blog we have rang in 2010, celebrated Lilly's 2nd birthday and welcomed our son, Henry Michael on March 25th. Life has been good! Busy, but good.
Becoming a family of four was a big adjustment for us but we wouldn't trade our beautiful children for anything. Henry arrived 2 weeks early on March 25th and Lilly has been busy doting on her baby brother. Watching the two of them interact is so much fun. So far, Henry is a very relaxed boy. It's so neat raising a girl and now a boy because it's totally different and I am loving the new experience.
Lilly is potty training! No more diapers! Hooray! She is so proud of herself and so are Mommy and Daddy.
Henry just adores his big sister. When he isn't being mesmerized by her, he is learning how to roll over and might even be cutting his first tooth at the old age of 4 months. This is all new territory for us because Lilly's first tooth didn't pop through until 11 1/2 months. He is also enjoying cereal and veggies, this boy LOVES to eat! He is weighing right around 16 lbs. Only 7 more lbs to go to pass up his big sister.
Our Summer has been on the go. We can't believe it's almost the end of July. Melissa's younger brother, Joey, was married to his beautiful bride in June and one of Jarod's bestfriends was married the week after. We enjoyed all of the festivities. Lilly especially loved her duties as Joey and Cas' flower girl. Henry was baptized on July 17th and it was a great day all around. He was surrounded by our wonderful family and friends.
August will be an exciting month because we will be celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary. We both feel so blessed and lucky to be in love and have two beautiful children to show for our many blessings.
